In the heart of Colorado Wine Country

Long known as Colorado's West Elk Wine Country, the temperate North Fork Valley is home to vineyards, orchards, and organic farms. Warm summer days compliment pleasant spring and fall weather to produce Colorado's finest Pinot, Riesling and Chardonnay. Follow the West Elk Wine Trail to fully experience this amazing corner of Colorado. North Fork Valley wineries are open for wine tasting and vineyard tours Memorial Day through Mid-October.

Your stable, inflatable river kayak, and professional guides will make it easy for you to quickly master Colorado river kayaking. Rafting

Western Slope SUP offers whitewater rafting tours on all three North Fork Valley rivers. Choose from five custom tailored raft options ranging from scenic family floats, to adrenaline pounding class III whitewater adventures. All of our river tours feature big rocky mountain views, wildlife, and friendly, local guides. Join us May through June for whitewater rafting on the North Fork of the Gunnison River and Anthracite Creek, or year-round, for scenic rafting in the Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area.

Rentals

Western Slope SUP is your one stop shop for river equipment rentals in the North Fork Valley. We carry many different paddleboard designs, single and tandem inflatable kayaks, float tubes and whitewater rafts. Spend the day your way at Crawford State Park, Sweitzer Lake State Park, Paonia State Park, or one of the 300 Grand Mesa Lakes. Our rental packages include the craft of your choice, paddle and PFD.

Multi-Day Colorado River Trips

Get the full experience with one of our multi-day adventure packages. Join us for an overnight rafting trip in the Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area, or a 3-day fully catered stand up paddle adventure through Ruby and Horsethief Canyons on the Colorado River. Choose your level of adventure by selecting to join the trip in a guided Raft, kayak, or paddleboard. Instructors will be available on and off the river to ensure your comfort, and take care of all your needs. A multi-day river tour with Western Slope SUP is the perfect opportunity to get one-on-one SUP instruction, re-connect with family and friends, and unwind on the river. Itineraries ranging from 2-3 days are available.
